Mission 30 - 30

Singapore imports over 90% of food consumed in the country. Despite higher average consumption of seafood compared to the rest of the world, only 9% of all fish consumed in Singapore is produced locally. To ensure a steady, uninterrupted supply of food in Singapore from risks such as food supply bans, outbreak, shortages due to weather changes or inflation from exporting countries, the nation aims to produce 30% of the country's nutrient needs by the year 2030.

Our Philosophy

Mahota Seafarm is a fast-growing, Singapore-owned seafood farm started in 2018 and founded on the Tai Sheng philosophy of Symboisis, Sharing & Harmony. We believe in the protection of Nature & maintenance of the delicate ecological balance between man and nature, that a world that is sustainable for generations prioritizes human creativity, diversity and sustainability. Formed in the early 2000s, this philosophy has provided us a sense of purpose in our farming and businesses. We aim to play a significant role in contributing to Singapore's 30-30 goal.
